„Rin’s first tour in three years marks the start of a new era for the artists creative process. One of the biggest aspects of this new era being a new direction for the live experience surrounding him.
His 2023 show tells the viewer his story up to this point in different chapters. These chapters are defined by four positions the artist interacts with. Symbolized by the three set elements on stage and the b-stage. Each with a slightly different vibe and function but constructed the same way. On stage a pod to stand atop, one to walk along, and one to stand under. By changing Rin’s position on stage and his surroundings, we were able to convey different feelings and situations in the narrative. The story is visible in the video content, with each chapter visualized in a different manner and mainly focusing on one of the three screens corresponding with the pods and their position on stage. To maximize the contrast between the modern visual story and the b-stage, the fourth position is designed with only analogue lighting fixtures, no screens, and classic fire effects, while placing the artist in the midst of the crowd and allowing a personal interaction between him and his fans.
